Antimatter Annihilation

A particle meets its antiparticle and both are converted into radiation. Set the antimatter mass and watch E = 2mc² — the 2 is there because an equal mass of ordinary matter is destroyed alongside it. Switching species changes how the energy is parcelled up, never how much there is.

Usable energy: about 100%. Every event ends in gamma photons, so essentially all of the released energy is in principle catchable.

Tip: switch species and watch the two lower bars swap places by the same distance. The mass slider moves the total; the species buttons only split it differently.
